Two Vaqueros players earn futsal spots on PFL Team USA, will compete against FC Barcelona and PFL Team Mexico

FORT WORTH _ A pair of Vaqueros, Nestor Martinez and Hilton Ngwa, will take a brief break from pre-season training to translate their skills to the futsal court.

The duo has been named to PFL Team USA, which will compete against FC Barcelona and PFL Team Mexico as part of the PFL International Challenge powered by USA Futsal.

The Professional Futsal League’s first event is scheduled for March 13-15 at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco and Gilley’s Dallas.

“We are committed to providing exceptional opportunities for our players through the Fort Worth Vaqueros and PMI,” Vaqueros owner Michael Hitchcock said. “I'm happy that two of our players will have a chance to play for PFL Team USA in the inaugural PFL International Challenge; playing with some of the best futsal players in the US and playing against some of the top futsal players in Europe.”

Vaqueros supporters can get Buy One, Get One Free tickets to the PFL International Challenge powered by USA Futsal through the Vaqueros official Gear Shop.

Vaqueros coach Mark Snell confirmed the players will return to the club after the tournament and be ready for the NPSL season in May.

“This will be an exciting opportunity for the players to represent the Fort Worth Vaqueros organization in this unique international event,” Snell said. “I hope our fans come out to support them.”
