February 7th, 2023 - The Fort Worth Vaqueros FC launch their official Youth Soccer Club by the same name Fort Worth Vaqueros Youth Soccer Club. The Fort Worth Vaqueros were founded in 2013 in Fort Worth Texas and began their first official season in 2014 playing in the Lone Star Conference of the nationally recognized National Premier Soccer League. In 2014, the Fort Worth Vaqueros Futbol Club launched their first of its kind non-profit youth academy. An academy providing community youth the opportunity to receive top level coaching and play on a highly organized team. This youth academy, supported by sponsorships and donations from local leaders and Fort Worth businesses transformed an abandoned tennis court on the east side of Fort Worth and gave the academy its official training ground. In addition, this field served the existing and surrounding community a place for local youth and adult soccer enthusiasts to come together to play the beautiful game.
By 2019, the Vaqueros FC were averaging 1,500 fans a game when they won the Lone Star Conference and competed for the first time in franchise history in the Lamar Hunt US Open tournament.
Today we are announcing another pillar in the Vaqueros organization with the launch of our full U6-U19 boys and girls youth soccer club! Following the dramatic and exciting 2022 World Cup, we believe the time is now to give again to the youth and the community of Fort Worth. With this Youth Soccer Club, we are providing Fort Worth and surrounding communities the opportunity to play for a true Fort Worth team, based and operated right here in Fort Worth.
